    NEWPORT, R.I. - After falling in a close match at second doubles, Salve Regina University men's tennis senior Matt Gingras (Wethersfield, Conn.) and sophomore Will Masse (Wyoming, R.I.) both took singles victories, but visiting Wentworth Institute of Technology took the team score, 7-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action in Newport.

Only this time, the Gulls completed the sweep by claiming all six singles matches in straight sets.

The two schools have combined to win 22 titles in the last 25 years in men's tennis - Salve Regina with 15 and Nichols with seven.
