Officially dedicated in 1993 in memory of former Salve Regina director of athletics, Brother Michael Reynolds, the natural grass field sits across the street (Lawrence Ave.) from the University's McKillop Library.

At one point in the 90s, seven different varsity teams played their home games at Reynolds Field (field hockey, men's and women's soccer in the fall; baseball, softball, men's and women's lacrosse in the spring).

Salve Regina softball (1999) and baseball (2001) won Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championships here before Reynolds Field underwent a transformation in conjunction with the contruction of the Walgreen's Residence Hall in 2002-2003. During that time, soccer played at Fort Adams State Park while baseball went downtown to play at Cardines Field.

The Seahawk baseball team built dugouts before erupting from their third-base shelter in celebration of their second-straight conference championship in 2017.Â
