SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Saturday, October 18, 2025)--
Anna Weygang crossed the line first in the women's 5k at the Western New England Golden Bears Invitational with a blistering time of 22:10.54. Weygang set a personal best and a school record with her performance at WNE.
Isabella Hastings saw a top five finish with a time of 22:27.11 for third place in the women's race. The women's 5k began promptly at 10 a.m. followed by the men's 8k at 11 a.m.
Overall the women's cross country team finished third at the meet.
On the men's side
Cole Smith finished 43rd with the top Seahawk time and a personal best of 28:08.00 for 8k. He was followed by
Gabe Victoria who ran a time of 28:44.16.

The Seahawks next race on Saturday, November 1, at the NEWMAC Cross Country Championships. The event is hosted by Wheaton College at Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass.
