KEENE, N.H. (Saturday, October 4, 2025)--
Anna Weygang '27 and
Cole Smith '29 led the way as the Seahawks' top finishers at the Keene State Invitational held at the Owl Athletic Complex midday on Saturday.
The men's 8k went off at 11 a.m. while the women's 6k began shortly after at 12 p.m. The course featured a flat terrain with a mixture of grass and dirt.
Weygang completed the 6k in 22:13.50 and with this time broke the school record for that distance. She was followed up by
Isabella Hastings '27 with a time of 22:48.30, and
Emma McFadden '29, who crossed the line in 25:32.10. Hastings posted a season personal best and Weygang, McFaddenn
Catherine Minegar '27,
Hannah Tadros '29 and
Ava Dexter '27 all had career PRs.
On the men's side Smith crossed the 8k line in 28:33.60 with a PR, followed by
Justin Ruffler '28 (28:44.80), and
Gabe Victoria '28 (29:03.70).
Dillon Coblentz '26 had a season PR.
Gianni Soucy '27 and
Carson Lau '29 each had a career PR.
The women's team finished 11th overall out of 26 teams and the men's team came in 24th.
