Emily Winslow joined the Seahawk athletic communications team in August 2023.
Winslow completed her bachelor’s degree in 2020 and her master’s degree in 2022, both at the University of Rhode Island. During her time at URI she was a five year member of the DI rowing program, a four year captain, and a graduate assistant rowing coach for the final year of her master's program. Winslow and the Rams won the Atlantic 10 Championships and advanced to the NCAA Championships in 2018, 2019, 2021 and in 2022 when she was a coach.
While at URI Winslow worked as a media relations intern and compliance intern. Her desire to stay involved in sports following her graduation sparked her to work as a sportswriter for the Eagle Times, a newspaper out of Claremont, New Hampshire and as a freelance writer and statistician for Dartmouth College athletics. She has also spent time in ticket sales for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the AA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
At Salve Regina Winslow serves as the main contact for women's volleyball, men's cross country, women's cross country, field hockey, men's ice hockey, women's ice hockey, women's track and field, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse. She supports these teams through statistic keeping, schedule management, media relations, roster management, live broadcast, written press releases and social media content creation.
Winslow was drawn to Salve Regina for its strong community, resilient athletics, recent NEWMAC affiliation and service values.
