NEWPORT, R.I. - Bryce Boggs (Hyde Park, Mass.) scored a career-high 31 points and led all players, but Salve Regina University men's basketball fell to league-leading Nichols College, 83-75, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

Foul trouble for Salve Regina junior Nicholas Bates (Danvers, Mass.) - two in the first half, and his fourth by the 8:21 mark of the second - kept the Seahawk captain off the floor and limited his opportunity to extend his double-double streak (ends after eight straight).

Turning Point
Echevarria opened the second half scoring with a four-point play, draining a 3-pointer and drawing a foul. The Bison enjoyed a 12-2 run to start the period after the teams were tied at 37-37 going into the break. Nichols made it look two E's (too easy) with Echevarria and Eggleston accounting for the dozen points on offense.
