Summary
Visiting Endicott College defeated the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-22) in a Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup Saturday morning.

Series and Streaks
This was the 23rd meeting between the two teams. The Gulls now own a 19-4 advantage in the all-time series and have won four straight over the Seahawks.

Three Stars of the Match

  1. Endicott sophomore Zoey Gifford (Natick, Mass.) registered a match-high 29 assists as well as notching 13 digs and blocking two shots.
  2. Endicott sophomore Alex Dippel (Fallston, Md.) had a match-high 13 kills.
  3. Salve Regina sophomore Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.) paced the Seahawks with 12 kills with a .417 kill percentage.

Key Stat of the Day
The Gulls closed out every set strong, finishing each on 9-3, 7-1, and 7-1 runs respectively.

Turning Point
The Seahawks held a 21-18 lead late in the third set trying to stave of a sweep. A kill from Alex Dippel and back-to-back Seahawk errors tied the set 21-21. Cassidy Trabilcy (Phoenix, Ariz.) answered with a block to give Salve Regina the lead back, but Dippel took matters into her own hands, closing out the match with four straight kills to give Endicott the 3-0 victory.
