Summary
NEWPORT, R.I. - Five Gulls scored in double figures as Endicott College men's basketball held a 42-16 advantage at halftime before holding onto an 83-70 final over Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center on Tuesday night. Salve Regina (6-10, 3-6 CCC) senior Rodney Morton (Malden, Mass.) led all players with 26 points. Endicott (11-4, 6-2 CCC) had just one player in double figures by halftime, sophomore Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) with 16 points; he finished with 17. Freshman Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) and junior Vinny Clifford (Danvers, Mass.) both finished with 10 points while junior Nick Thibeault (Gorham, Maine) led the Gulls with 18 points.

Endicott leads the all-time series, 22-14, and has won the last four meetings and seven of the last eight.

  1. Salve Regina senior Rodney Morton (Malden, Mass.) led all players with 26 points.
  2. Endicott junior Nick Thibeault (Gorham, Maine) led the Gulls with 18 points, 16 coming in second half.
  3. Endicott sophomore Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) followed up his program-record 53-point performance in a double-overtime victory Saturday with 17 tonight, 16 coming in the first half.
