NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior forward Ashley Cody (Pawling, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal early in the fourth quarter to help the Salve Regina University field hockey team to a 4-3 victory over visiting Roger Williams University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday.

The Hawks were able to generate some offensive pressure down the stretch, outshooting the Seahawks 4-2 in the game's final minutes. Hannah Palmer (Essex Junction, Vt.) scored off a corner, but the goal came with just 29 seconds remaining in the game and the Seahawks hung on for the 4-3 victory.
