DUDLEY, Mass. – Salve Regina University field hockey defeated Nichols College 4-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at Vendetti Field. 

Salve Regina (8-3, 1-3 CCC) struck for two goals in both the first and fourth quarters as Eliza Timmons and Grace Parker each scored twice. Nichols (6-7, 0-3 CCC) – who were playing with only 10 field players – were outshot by a 21-12 margin. 

Junior Megan Fuchs stopped 12 shots for the Bison while Ahaesy led the squad with five shots. Casey Febus got the start in net for the Seahawks and made six saves in the victory.
