WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior guard Morgan Shuey nearly had a triple double for the Salve Regina University women's basketball team as it defeated Clark University 72-62 in non-conference play to improve to 4-0 for the first time since 2010.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Salve Regina trailed at the half but outsocred Clark 40-25 in the second.
  • Morgan Shuey posted 13 points, 10 assists, and seven steals.
  • Sofia Neary led all scorers with 21 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and blocked five shots.
  • This is the best start for the Seahawks since 2010-11 when they started 5-0,on thier way to a 25-4 season and conference title.
