Box Score MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Three goals in the third period helped the Suffolk University women's ice hockey team distance itself from Salve Regina University en route to a 5-1 victory in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon.

- Samantha McKenzie scored the first goal of the season for Salve Regina to tie the game 1-1 at 11:33 of the second period.
- Junior goalie Ellee Kopecky made 24 saves for Salve Regina.
- Salve Regina was 0-for-2 on the power play while the Rams were 1-for-2.
