NEWPORT, R.I. - Endicott College defeated the Salve Regina University men's basketball team 78-73 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday evening.

NOTEWORTHY:

• Mikey Spencer poured in a game-high 33 points for the Seahawks on 10-19 shooting and knocking down five three pointers. Spencer also added a team-hgih 12 rebounds.
• Jalen Echevarria, Jeff Hill, and Matt Garry all scored in double figures for the Gulls.
• Echevarria led the trio with 25 points, while Hill and Garry poured in 18 and 17 points, respectively. 
• Endicott took a 9-7 lead via a Mark Barrett layup with 14:34 on the clock in the first half and never trailed the rest of the way.
• Salve Regina would trail by as many as 11 at different points and come back to draw within a single possesion multiple times in the se ond half but could never get over the hump.
