- Suffolk senior Jesse Kennedy (Oneida Nation) scored and assisted on a goal.
Turning Point
The game was scoreless after one period despite the Rams outshooting the Seahawks 12-3. Cote finally broke through for the Rams at 6:20 of the second period when a pass from the wing deflected off a Seahawk skate right to her stick and she snapped home the game's first score. Later the Rams, who boast the league's best power play, scored twice in just over two minutes on the advantage to break the game open. Cote jumped in off a draw to quickly rip in her second of the night, then Madison Duff (Novi, Mich.) wristed in a shot from the point during a 5-on-3 power play to make it 3-0 at 18:52 of the second.
