Box Score NEWPORT, R.I. - Led by junior hitter Brighton Solheim the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team defeated Simmons 3-1 (25-18, 25-14, 25-27, 25-16) in non-conference action Thursday evening.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Solheim posted 12 kills and a match-high four aces to lead the Seahawks attack and also paced the Seahawks defense with 23 digs.
- Madison Lee struck for a double-double with 14 kills and 14 digs while senior setter Katelyn O'Brien collected 32 assists for Salve Regina.
- Joenissa Ortiz led the way for the Sharks with 16 kills, three aces, and two blocks. She also grabbed 15 digs while teammate Kat Simeonidis had a match-high 40 assists.
