WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's soccer team (7-3-3, 2-3-1 NEWMAC) played their first official NEWMAC game in program history against Salve Regina University (3-5-4, 1-5-0 NEWMAC) and came away with a thrilling 3-1 win on Wednesday night from Granger Field.

NOTEWORTHY:

• The Cougars attempted 12 shots, with seven of them going on target. Seahawks had 15 shots with 11 on target.
• Clark earned five corner kicks, and Salve Regina attempted six.
• Anabella White registered three saves while Reagan Moffatt stopped four shots. Sabrina Lawless gave a four-minute relief appearance after Moffatt exited with a first-half injury and faced no shots.
