Seahawks remain unbeaten in NEWMAC play with 38-7 win against Bears

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University football scored 24 first-half points and coasted to a 38-7 victory over U.S. Coast Guard Academy at Toppa Field in NEWMAC action on Saturday afternoon. Thomas Cea Jr. gained 100 yards on 16 carries and scored three touchdowns (1, 16, 13) to lead the Seahawk (5-1, 3-0 NEWMAC) offense. Junior quarterback Jake Stack completed 19 of 29 passes for 242 yards and had two touchdown strikes, including a 43-yarder to Jacoby Smith on the first possession of the second half.
