It was a special night for Junior forward #5 Seth Benson from Moorhead, Minnesota who scored the opening goal for the Seahawks in the annual hockey fights cancer night. The Seahawks dropped a close game 4-3 in overtime to the #5 nationally ranked Curry Colonels.

Seth, a cancer survivor, is one of the leading scorers on the Seahawks and finds himself on course for a record year statistically.
