COACH THOUGHTS:

"Whenever we play Roger Williams, we know it's going to be a battle," said head coach Sebastian Noordzy. "Right now, they have the series advantage over us but we have been able to close the gap every single year since I've been here, which has been awesome. We have great core values so I could remind everyone that we were there together, we were there to compete and we've had a lot of growth. We did all of those things to win a tight one."

ATHLETE THOUGHTS:

"The team came together, worked hard and took down the birds," said sophomore Lauren Hoyle. "We had good kills and good ups, and we really came together to support each other. The times we were low we still brought each other up with our energy. I think I was able to connect with the set, Siena was giving me awesome sets, so I was able to get them down."

ON THE HORIZON:

On Saturday Sept. 23 women's volleyball will compete against Mount Holyoke College at 11 a.m. and Anna Maria College at 1 p.m. in South Hadley Mass.
