NOTEWORTHY
- Norwich's No.13 rank showed early in the game by their ability to win face offs and keep the puck in their attack zone. However Salve Regina's relentless defense and calmness facing Norwich's pressure gave them an edge.Â
- Although the Cadets did not score until the third period they put on a strong offensive front right from the onset, peppering the Seahawks net and forcing Taylor Hannafan to make 36 saves after 40 minutes had passed.Â
- The third period was a turning point in the contest when Cadet's Anna Lisac scored after a scramble in front of the net. This goal triggered a series of successes for Norwich and although Salve Regina saw a few break away plays, the Seahawks were unable to convert.Â
