BOSTON, Mass. -- (Saturday, November 9, 2024)-- In the final game of the regular season Salve Regina University women's volleyball fell 3-0 to the Emerson Lions at the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

Records: Salve Regina (8-18, 3-8 NEWMAC), Emerson (14-14, 4-7 NEWMAC)
History: Last year Salve Regina picked up their first NEWMAC win ever against the Lions on senior day.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Emerson got out to an 25-12 first set margin.
- Salve Regina reestablished themselves in the game for sets two and three. While the Lions still finished on top, the Seahawks closed the deficit to 25-23 and 25-21.
- Lauren Hoyle, Lucy Swanson and Lauren Shurling all led the team, tied for game-high seven kills.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Seahawks end their 2024 season and will not return to play until fall 2025.
