BRISTOL, R.I. -- (Tuesday, September 17, 2024)-- In just three sets Salve Regina University women's volleyball beat in-state opponent Roger Williams University 3-0 to achieve their second win of the season after beating Bridgewater State University last Saturday.

History: In 2002 the Seahawks and Hawks met for the first time. It was a 3-1 road loss for Salve Regina. Including that first meeting the Seahawks have a 7-26 all-time record against the Hawks. In 2023, a close five-setter, Salve Regina beat Roger Williams 3-2 at home.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Across three sets the margin ranged from a five-point win, in set two, to an eight point victory, in set three.
- Salve Regina got on the board early, with the first two points of the game and used their momentum to fuel a 25-19 win in set one.
- Salve Regina posted a .188 overall attack percentage.

In a neutral site game at 1 p.m. Plymouth State plays St. Joseph's University, Long Island. The final match of the day, at 3 p.m. is the Seahawks against the St. Joseph's Golden Eagles.
