NEWPORT, R.I. -- Salve Regina University women's soccer celebrates Senior Day for a dozen Seahawks with their families and friends at Reynolds Field - Taylor Barnaby (Portsmouth, R.I.), Alexa Calabrese (Burlington, Conn.), Ella Cence (Medway, Mass.), Hannah Daniewicz (Preston, Conn.), Haley Flynn (Milford, Conn.), Jessica Galante (Dover, N.H.), Grace Hudson (Nahant, Mass.), Maddie Hudson (Nahant, Mass.), Madison Lentine (West Haven, Conn.), Reagan Moffatt (Denville, N.J.), Marissa Perachi (Washington Depot, Conn.), Sara Wiejkus (Marshfield, Mass.).
Perachi posted the first score of today's game with her second goal of the season coming in the ninth minute. The Seahawks hung on to the 1-0 advantage into the 66th minute when Wiejkus scored her second of the season. Wiejkus increased the lead to 3-0 at the 70-minute mark. Gianna Moreschi (Needham, Mass.) joined her senior teammates on the scoring ledger with her first career goal in the 88th minute.
Salve Regina nearly doubled its season goal total with the 4-0 victory as the Seahawks entered the contest with five goals on the year from five different players. Now, Wiejkus leads with three followed by Perachi's two.
Moffatt continued her closing duties in goal with her clean slate over 45 minutes. Emelia DaPonte (Marshfield, Mass.) made four stops in the first half as Salve Regina recorded its second straight shutout.

All-Time Series: Today was the third ever meeting between the two programs in women's soccer. Two years ago on Reynolds Field, Marissa Perachi (Washington Depot, Conn.), Jessica Galante (Dover, N.H.), and Grace Hudson (Nahant, Mass.) each scored their first goals of the year in the final game of the regular season as the Seahawks won the first meeting with the Blue, 3-1.
