NEWPORT, R.I. - After back-to-back draws in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action, Salve Regina University men's soccer earned its first league triumph with a little help from visiting Massachusetts Institute of Technology on an "own goal" that provided the Seahawks with a 1-0 final at Toppa Field on Saturday afternoon.
