BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Salve Regina University men's ice hockey overcame a 2-0 deficit to beat No. 13 Bowdoin College 4-2 at the Sidney J. Watson Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Karsten Kruska scored the Seahawks first goal of the evening, his third goal of the season, three minutes into the second quarter. Kruska's goal triggered a 4-0 run for the Salve Regina with
Aidan Connolly,
Cade DeStefani and
Matthew Brunton all finding the back of the net. The Polar Bears pulled their goalie from the ice at the 17:38 mark in the third period but the Seahawks successfully held off the host 4-2.
