MIDDLETOWN, R.I. -- Five different Seahawks scored in the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey 5-0 shutout of Anna Maria College on Tuesday evening at Howard Rink.
Thanks to
Ashtyn Bringardner Salve Regina established a 1-0 lead after the first period but the second period was where the host took charge of the game, with three goals.
Kiersten Rasmussen,
Samantha McKenzie and
Morgan Peritz were all successful in bringing Salve Regina to a 4-0 lead entering the third period.
Caroline Batchelder sank her second collegiate goal at the 14:48 mark in the third frame to extend the Seahawks' lead to 5-0.
