MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (Saturday, February 15, 2025)-- Senior
Jessica McPherson sank the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team's game winning goal in a 2-0 shutout of the visiting University of Southern Maine in the last regular season contest of the season.
McPherson saw her first career goal against the Huskies.
Jennifer Drevitch also achieved her first goal of the season after receiving a pass from
Samantha McKenzie and
Riley Esposito one minute into the second period.
The Seahawks celebrated senior day by acknowledging all of the hard work and dedication the teams' four seniors and one graduate student have put in over the course of their careers at Salve. The programs' seniors includes
Emma Breen,
Jessica McPherson,
Elena Palmer,
Emma Pereira and graduate student
Darby Rich.
