NEWPORT, R.I. -- Salve Regina University women's basketball got a career-high 25 points from graduate student
Amanda Folan in her final regular season home game, as she led the Seahawks to a 76-59 win over the United States Coast Guard Academy in NEWMAC action at the Rodgers Recreation Center on Wednesday evening in Newport, Rhode Island.
The victory clinched another postseason bid for the Seahawks (13-10, 6-4 NEWMAC) who could finish as high as fourth place in the league with a win on Saturday at MIT. Salve Regina finishes with its most home wins (8-3) since a 10-3 mark in the 2017-18 season.

History: These programs meet for the 23rd time overall and second as fellow members of the NEWMAC. Salve Regina leads the all-time series, 13-10, since 1982. Coast Guard had won the last four meetings including 93-72 at Roland Hall in New London, Connecticut, last year in the first-ever NEWMAC matchup.
