NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, March 22, 2025) -- Salve Regina University women's tennis played their first NEWMAC contest of the season against Clark University and triumphed 6-1 at the on-campus courts at the Antone Academic Center.

Salve Regina got the double point with wins at No.1, No.2 and No.3 doubles.

"It means a lot to have that win under our belt to start the season," said captain Elena Murdock. "It makes us really excited for the matches to come and where we'll end up by the end of the season. We've already improved so much since spring break so it's only uphill from here."
