NEWPORT, R.I. (Friday, April 11, 2025) -- In their third conference match of the year Salve Regina University men's tennis was overpowered 7-0 by the visiting Wheaton College Lyons at the Antone Academic Center Tennis courts on Friday.

The Seahawks were defeated 6-0 across the board in doubles play. At No.2 singles Jacob Faulise forced a tiebreak with a 6-6 set two, falling 7-4 in the tiebreak. At No.1 singles Samule Middleton stayed competitive with a 6-2 and 6-3 verdict. At No.5 singles Nicholas Christina also challenged Wheaton's Jake Murray with sets of 6-2 and 6-1.
