History: Today marks the 99th meeting on the baseball diamond between Salve Regina and Roger Williams, and the first road game after a seven-game home stand for the Seahawks. Salve Regina has won nearly 65 percent of their all-time meetings with Roger Williams (63-34-2) and that includes winning 10 of the last 11 meetings (10-0-1). A five-run rally for the Seahawks in the sixth made a winner out of starter Brayden Clark who allowed just one run in six innings while striking out nine Hawks in last year's 9-4 victory on Reynolds Field. Two hits apiece for Hunter Yaworski, Wil McCarthy, and Nate Ruehs. Last week in Newport, Salve Regina's 17-4 victory gave head coach Eric Cirella his 318th triumph of his career, tying him with his dad on the school's all-time win list (Eric Cirella now has 322 victories after extending the team's current win streak to 11 games).
