Nolan Romanowski pitched a 1-2-3 ninth with two Ks as Salve Regina improved to 33-7 on the season. At the top of the Seahawk order,
Brandon Grover reached base four times on three hits and scored four runs including a solo home run in the seventh.
Clark retired the first 10 Owls he faced before hitting a batter in the fourth. Keene State did not get its first base hit until the fifth inning.
Salve Regina scored single runs in the first three frames and added another in the fifth before Grover's third home run of the year capped the scoring.

History:Â Salve Regina meets Keene State for the 11th time on a baseball diamond and the first since 2017. The Seahawks have won the last five meetings, sweeping a doubleheader in Newport in 2015 before a single game in Newport in 2017 and another in Keene, N.H., later that spring. The Owls won the first six contests starting with a 2005 doubleheader in Tampa, Florida.
