MARLBOROUGH, Mass.-- First year defender on the women's lacrosse team Adelaide Baird (Springfield, Va.) has joined a group of 32 athletes earning 2025 All-Conference accolades.
Baird finds herself on the Second Team All-Conference after leading the Seahawks in caused turnovers (19) this season. She was the team's second highest in ground balls (38) and draw controls (29). She is fifth in the conference in ground balls per game with a 2.53 average.
Earlier this year Baird was named NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for March 10-16. She led the Seahawks to their first win of the season and a conference win over Wellesley with five draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
