QUOTING COACH NOORDZY:
"Today was a really good day with this doubleheader against University of Maine at Presque Isle. We did a good job of taking care of the ball on our side and were able to work through some things that we've been focusing on throughout the week in practice. We had some really good performances and it was a strong day overall. We always talk about how we can play simple volleyball better. We knew we were scoring points in the first set-- we got a whole bunch of kills, a few aces and a couple of blocks. We knew we had to figure out a way to stop them from scoring easy points and once we made that adjustment we were able to snowball our point creation"
ON THE HORIZON:
Next up the Seahawks are on the road on Tuesday, September 23, at 7 p.m. for the first conference game of the season against Clark University.
