SUMMARY
  • 1Q | Springfield opened the game with energy, getting offensive lift from Natalie Lucas, who scored inside to tie and then take the lead early. The Seahawks responded with baskets from Deanna Linscott and a pair of free throws from Sofia Neary to push ahead, but Lucas continued to press, helping Springfield finish the quarter on top, 17–13. The quarter featured a balance of hustle plays and defensive intensity, with Salve Regina's Neary showing early aggression on the glass, and Springfield making just enough shots to claim a slim advantage after 10 minutes. | PRIDE 17, SEAHAWKS 13
  • 2Q | In the second quarter Springfield extended its advantage behind efficient offensive execution and better ball movement. The Pride outscored the Seahawks 18–10, with contributions from multiple players including Carrie Hess and Amanda Leary, who both hit timely buckets to keep Springfield ahead. Salve Regina struggled to find consistent offense in this period, posting low shooting percentages and failing to connect from three. The Pride's improved offensive rhythm entering halftime gave them a 35–23 lead. | PRIDE 18, SEAHAWKS 10
  • 3Q | Salve Regina opened the second half with renewed urgency. Led by Sofia Neary, who attacked the rim and dominated the boards, the Seahawks outscored Springfield 12–8 in the third quarter. The Seahawk defense disrupted Springfield's rhythm, forcing turnovers and tipping passes, which helped fuel the comeback. While the Pride remained within striking distance, Springfield's scoring dipped and Salve Regina closed the gap to 43–35 heading into the fourth. | PRIDE 8, SEAHAWKS 12
  • 4Q | The fourth quarter was a swing period — Salve Regina outpaced Springfield 17–9 to erase the deficit and even take the lead late. Frankie Spadorcia hit key baskets for the Seahawks, while Neary continued to flex inside. Springfield, however, responded with clutch plays from Lucas and Hess, plus timely free throws that kept the Pride alive. With neither team able to pull away in the closing minutes, the frame ended deadlocked, forcing a tension-packed overtime. | PRIDE 9, SEAHAWKS 17
  • OT | In the extra session, Springfield tightened its defense and executed in the clutch. The Pride outscored Salve Regina 6–3 in overtime — a result of critical stops and smart offensive possession management.
