WATERFORD, Conn.-- Isabella Hastings '27 led the Salve Regina University women's cross country team, while Justin Ruffler '28 toped the men's cross country team's roster at the Conn College Invite at Harkness State Park on Saturday. 

Hastings crossed the women's 6000m line in second place in the Women's White Race with a time of 22:24.3. Following Hastings Anna Weygang was the next Seahawk to finish in 23:04.9 followed by Caroline Conway with a time of 24:12.2. 

Justin Ruffler saw a finish of 28:56.6 for 8000m in Men's White Race. Gabe Victoria was the next of Salve men's runners with a time of 30:22.5. 

The Seahawks next race at the NEWMAC Championships on Saturday, October 31.
