SUMMARY
  • 1Q | Salve Regina came out with energy and assertiveness in the game's opening quarter, using accuracy inside the arc and consistent free-throw shooting to build a narrow lead. The Seahawks capitalized on efficient looks early, with Sofia Neary spearheading the offense, converting high-percentage shots and drawing fouls to fuel Salve Regina's offense. Babson struggled to find its rhythm offensively, shooting under 35 % from the field in the period, but remained within striking distance thanks to a handful of early triples and stout defensive stops down the stretch. | SEAHAWKS 22, BEAVERS 21
  • 2Q | Salve Regina extended its advantage in the second quarter, outpacing Babson on both ends. The Seahawks continued to work efficiently in the paint and from the free-throw line, maintaining a double-digit lead midway through the period. Babson's shooting woes persisted, with a sub-25 % field goal percentage for the quarter, but the Beavers stayed within reach courtesy of scrappy defense and transition buckets. At halftime, Salve Regina carried a 39–31 lead into the locker room. | SEAHAWKS 17, BEAVERS 10
  • 3Q | The third frame was the turning point of the contest. Babson exploded offensively, outscoring Salve Regina 34–14 behind a barrage of three-pointers and efficient scoring from its backcourt stars. Emily Flynn took over in this quarter, knocking down shots from all over the floor and energizing the Beavers' comeback. Conversely, Salve Regina cooled offensively, missing key looks from beyond the arc and failing to convert at the rim as often. By the end of the third, Babson had flipped the scoreboard and seized a 65–53 lead, swinging momentum firmly in its favor. | BEAVERS 34, SEAHAWKS 14
  • 4Q | In the final period, both teams traded buckets in a spirited close. Salve Regina, buoyed by continued scoring from Neary and mid-range effectiveness, trimmed parts of Babson's lead, but could never fully regain the edge. Babson balanced aggressive offensive sets with timely defensive stops, converting enough free throws down the stretch to preserve its lead. Flynn finished with a game-high scoring night, while contributions from Chloe Perreault and Alyssa Hopps helped sustain the Beavers' advantage in the closing minutes. The final sequence saw Babson withstand a late Seahawks push to close out a 86–77 road victory. | SEAHAWKS 24, BEAVERS 21
