Drevitch sinks game winning goal in season finale

NEW LONDON, Conn – Junior defender Jennifer Drevitch secured a 2-1 victory over Connecticut College when schre scored late in the final game of the 2025-26 season for the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team at Dayton Arena.

Just 4:03 into the first period, Salve Regina struck first when Grace Dumond played a puck out to center that Caroline Batchelder picked up, going in on a breakaway and scoring to put the Seahawks in front.

The second period stayed tight, with both teams trading chances but neither able to convert. Midway through the third, the Camels evened the score at 1–1 with a well-placed shot but Salve Regina answered just over eight minutes later. With 16:22 gone from the clock, Jennifer Drevitch snapped a quick shot home from the high slot on assists from Aryana Wilson and Caroline Batchelder to regain the lead 2–1. The camels pulled their goalie in the final minutes of regulation for the extra attacker, but were unable to tie the score, falling 2-1.
