Seahawks surpassed 20-9 by Lancers in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Salve Regina university women's lacrosse fell 20-9 to Worcester State University in a neutral site game in Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday.

The Lancers got out to an early lead, controlling the first quarter 4-0. Nora Cooney, Alix Madden and Lois Manning all tallied goals in the second quarter but heading into the half Worcester State held onto an 11-4 advantage.
