(April 16, 2026) -- Shane Williams (Georgetown, Mass.), Danny Rogers (New Canaan, Conn.), and Brady Smolinski (North Grafton, Mass.) each had a first-inning RBI as No. 3-ranked Salve Regina University took an early 3-0 lead at Rhode Island College and added two in the fifth, one in the sixth, and seven more in the ninth, to finish with a 13-1 win in non-league action against the Anchormen at Pontarelli Field on Thursday afternoon. Freshman lefty Carrick Ryan (Durham, N.C.) pitched five innings in relief to pick up his third win of the season (W, 3-0).
