SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Saturday, September 12, 2026) -- Salve Regina University men's tennis opened its 2026-27 campaign with four freshmen and two sophomores earning a 6-1 decision at Western New England University in non-league action at the Forest Park Tennis Courts just off the Golden Bears' campus on Saturday afternoon.
Luca Testa (Cranston, R.I.) trailed 4-0 in his second set at second singles before rallying for a tiebreak victory. Earlier, he had paired with sophomore captain
Kole Pinto (Fairhaven, Mass.) for a 6-3 win at second doubles.
