Gomez gets straight-set singles win for Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, September 19, 2026) -- Salve Regina University freshman Tiffany Gomez (Harwich, Mass.) won in straight sets at fifth singles, but the fifth-ranked Beavers of Babson College took the overall match by a 6-1 score in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener for both schools on Saturday morning in Newport.
