PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Tuesday, September 22, 2026) -- Salve Regina University men's soccer competed in a scoreless stalemate at Johnson & Wales University in non-league action at the Scotts Miracle Gro Sports Complex on Tuesday evening.
The Seahawks (2-3-2) and Wildcats (2-0-5) met for the 21st time ever and matched each other offensively for the fourth time in the series; Salve Regina leads, 11-6-4. Salve Regina is 2-0-3 in the last five meetings.
Tonight, the teams were even in shots (a dozen overall and both had two on frame).
Salve Regina's
Nick Giorgi (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) took over for
Brennan Silva (Rehoboth, Mass.) midway through the first half and recorded the two saves for the Seahawks. William Slayton (
Manchester, Conn.) played all 90 minutes for the Wildcats and drew a Yellow Card in the 56th, but also made two saves between the posts.
