Camels bump Seahawks, 4-0

NEW LONDON, Conn. (September 7, 2026) -- For the third straight road game in the Nutmeg State to open the season, Salve Regina University women's soccer fell 4-0 to Connecticut College as the Camels improved to 2-0 with four first half goals.

Four different Camels scored in the win -- Lucy Hurlbut, Zola Alcaro, Una McCorry, Myla Berrien. Connecticut College had the shot advantage (19 to 9) with the bulk (12) coming in the first half. Emelia DaPonte (Marshfield, Mass.) and Sabrina Lawless (Milford, Conn.) registered three and two saves, respectively, in their 45 minutes between the posts.

The Seahawks (1-1-1) face the Scots of Gordon College on the road in Wenham, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, September 9, before hosting their first game in Newport the following week.
