Sara is a lifelong Rhode Islander and current resident of Middletown, Rhode Island. Growing up in Warwick and attending Providence College, Sara is well known for bringing home Olympic Gold and Silver medals in women’s ice hockey as the goalie for Team USA. She had an amazing eight-year career with the team, including being named USA Hockey Player of the year in 2000 and 2002.

She has coached at Harvard University, Providence College, and Nobles and Greenough School. She is a founder of the all-girls Rhode Island Sting youth hockey organization.
