Prior to Salve Regina:

My sophomore year of high school I was a 6A volleyball state champion. My junior and senior year my team qualified for the state tournament. During my junior year we placed 3rd at state. I was voted the best defensive player on my team junior year and captain of my team senior year. I played volleyball competitively for 7 years with 6 different competitive teams including one that practiced an hour and a half away from my hometown (Tulsa, OK). I went to volleyball nationals once in Minneapolis, MN.  I ended high school with a 4.30 GPA. 

Why I chose Salve:

I'm from Oklahoma, but I've always loved the Northeast, especially Newport. I wanted to experience life in a different part of the country and Salve offers me the chance to play volleyball and live in an extremely beautiful and history-packed region of the USA. I couldn't really turn that down!!!
