QUINCY, Mass. - The Salve Regina women's basketball team kept its unbeaten conference streak alive as the Seahawks used an early 15-2 run and rolled to a 79-57 over Eastern Nazarene Wednesday night.

The win moves Salve Regina to a perfect 12-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference play and an impressive 21-3 overall on the season.

Salve Regina senior Kimberly Horan (Webster, Mass.) led all players with 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Classmate Erin Phillips (Morristown, N.J.) played a stellar all-around game as she scored 20 points, pulled down eight rebounds, dished out eight assists and blocked four shots. Phillips led all players in assists while 13 of her 20 points came in the second half.

Seahawks junior Lindsay Shorey (Ashland, Mass.) chipped in 9 points while Marissa Pendergast (Medfield, Mass.) scored eight and grabbed six rebounds.

The Lady Lions were led by their two post players once again, Shardae Brown and Dianna Bonds. Brown finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and two blocks while Bonds, scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the loss. Sophomore point guard Ace Carradine scored six points and led her team in assists with sevem. Carradine also gathered five rebounds in an inspiring all-around effort.

On senior night, the Lady Lions' lone senior, Ja'na Jenkins, scored two points, five rebounds, and one steal.

The Lady Lions will play their final game of the 2010-11 regular season on Saturday as they travel to TCCC opponent Roger Williams. Salve Regina will look to close out a perfect conference run as the Seahawks host Gordon College. Both games are set to begin at 1 p.m.
