WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:

"I thought we did well in the first half executing what we had discussed in our lead up to the match – getting on the front foot, playing at the opponent, and playing through the lines and into the channels quickly.  We were able to change our point of attack quickly and play into the feet of our center mids while also mixing in a stretch factor with balls into the channels or the forward space of our strikers.  We out-shot them by a good margin and I think we were bit better in creating our chances this match but we are still lacking that killer instinct to put the game away by capitalizing on our chances.  But ultimately, it's good to get the first win of the season under our belts as we continue to work on refining our possession and developing our entire roster." - Salve Regina head coach Craig O'Rourke II
