NEWPORT, R.I. -- Salve Regina University women's soccer settled for a 1-1 draw with visiting Clark University in NEWMAC action on Wednesday afternoon at Reynolds Field. Junior forward
Hannah Daniewicz struck for her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the sixth minute from 30 yards out to put the Seahawks (2-9-3, 1-2-3 NEWMAC) up 1-0. The Cougars (3-9-1, 0-5-1 NEWMAC) got the equalizer during a three-shot attack that finished with Cassandra Trevino cashing in a carom.
Reagan Moffatt played spectacularly in goal for the Seahawks and even had an initial save off the cross bar on a shot from Georgia Louis. Despite getting knocked down after the save, Moffat's teammates blocked a kick from Camilla Daigle who earned the assist when Trevino knocked in the rebound.

Sara Wiejkus scored a goal in the game's sixth minute before Gabriella Herivaux tied the score 38 seconds later. In the second half, Emma Tziachris and Gabriella Herivaux scored to make the final, 3-1, in favor of the Cougars.
