Schuele, Goba score second-half goals to lift Seahawks over Cougars

Santiago stops six shots in the Salve Regina victory

WORCESTER, Mass. -- After a scoreless first half, Salve Regina University men's soccer took a 1-0 lead over host Clark University in the 62nd minute on Emmet Schuele's second goal in as many games. The Cougars (4-6-4, 0-4-1 NEWMAC) tied the score five minutes later before the Seahawks' (7-7-1, 2-1-1 NEWMAC) got the game-winner from their leading scorer, Daniel Goba, in the 85th minute. Graduate student Jordan Borges assisted on both Seahawk goals.

Adonis Santiago made six saves in the victory which vaulted Salve Regina to .500 overall and fourth place in the league.
